Cylch Meithrin, Llanrhaeadr YM is a Welsh-medium Playgroup, our aim is to promote the education and development of children from two years old to school age. Children will be able to learn through play and socialise under the guidance of professional, qualified and dedicated staff.
Play is very important to every aspect of a child’s development. Therefore, the experiences and activities offered in Cylch are based on learning through play. There is a special emphasis on language development and the personal, social and emotional development of children.
Although Welsh is the language of the Cylch Meithrin every child from all backgrounds are welcome – neither you nor your child have to be able to speak Welsh to attend Cylch.
Your child will have the opportunity to play and socialise with other children, listen to stories, sing and dance as well as play with sand, water, playhouse, toys, bikes, etc. Ceri is currently working towards a level 3 certificate in leading forest school which we hope to introduce very soon.
We also provide the Childcare offer for Wales which once obtained can give you up to 30 hours a week of funded early education and childcare for eligible working parents. For more information please click on the link below
